connect air.gif CONVENIENT. There is now no need to run cables through walls, over ceilings and under floors to connect computing or bar coding equipment. ConnectAir wireless data links penetrate walls and floors made with steel studs and reinforcement.

VERSATILE. Share data and transfer files. Download your notebook to your desktop. Connect multiple computers to a printer or other peripheral. Link to an existing network. Use ConnecAir to link industrial/scientific sensors/equipment to computers. Use "Wedge" interfaced ConnectAir for fixed or walk-around bar code readers (with optional batteries or battery pack).

FLEXIBLE. ConnectAir provides a wireless point-to-point link for fast error free data transfer-even if separated by walls and floors-at a speed of up to 38.4 kBaud. The range is over 200 feet inside your office or home and up to 1800 feet in open areas with no obstructions. With 20 channel pairs, additional units can be used as transponders to further extend range.

USER FRIENDLY. Ready to go right out of the box. ConnectAir is easy to use and connects to any device with a standard RS-232 or keyboard port. No technical training is necessary beyond a knowledge of standard communications software for serial file transfers. Software is included.
PORTABLE. An optional rechargeable internal battery provides 8 hours of mobile access to another computer. An optional rechargeable external battery pack provides 24 hours or three full shifts of bar coding.

POWERFUL SOFTWARE. The ConnectAir package can be ordered to include award-winning CO/Session Communications Software. CO/Session allows bidirectional remote access to PC's and LAN facilities via serial ports for high speed background file transfers. This powerful communications software operates in both DOS and Windows environments. (When ConnectAir is used in applications such as bar coding that utilize keyboard "wedge" interfaces, no communications software is necessary.)
